Born on the North Shore
Anchor Coffee started with a simple belief: that great coffee doesn't need a fancy address — it needs intention, quality beans, and a genuine love for the craft.
We opened our doors on Miller Trunk Highway with a small roaster, a secondhand espresso machine, and a dream to put Duluth on the specialty coffee map. Every batch we roast is tracked, cupped, and adjusted until it tastes like something worth writing home about.
Today, we're proud to serve our neighbors — students, remote workers, early-morning runners, and weekend wanderers — all under one roof where the coffee is always fresh and the door is always open.

We hand-select green beans from farms that practice sustainable agriculture and pay fair wages. Quality starts at the origin.

Small batches on our drum roaster, carefully tracked with temperature and time. Each profile is developed to highlight the bean's natural character.

Ground to order, brewed with precision. Whether it's espresso or pour-over, we dial in every variable for a balanced, flavorful cup.
